Day 7

Quote: "Gratitude can transform common days into Thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy & change ordinary opportunities into blessings." -- William Arthur Ward

Journal Prompt:
As you go throughout your day, find ways to appreciate the "common" things that you normally would take for granted or even complain about.
For example, when you have to take out the trash (again), feel gratitude for the abundance in your life. You wouldn't have trash to take out if you weren't abundantly blessed with the things that are in there.
The next time you have to do ten loads of laundry, you could express gratitude for the following: clothes to wear, a washing machine to wash them in, the family members you are serving, electricity, laundry detergent, etc.
The idea is to realize how incredibly blessed you are on a daily basis. Approximately 80% of the world's population would feel lucky to have the things you take for granted. Record your thoughts in your "Gratitude Journal."
